Jason had his third year well-baby check-up yesterday. He’s an inch and a half taller, has gained somewhere in the vicinity of two and a half pounds, and got three of his shots. Meanwhile, I’m still glad that he’s not as sick as I am right now. I’ve missed being able to kiss him at my leisure, but I don’t want him to catch what I have… and it’s kind of funny to note the fact that apparently, being pregnant, my immune system’s slightly worse than a three year old’s. My nasal congestion is finally beginning to get better, although I’ve since noticed that I’ve begun to cough productively. Luckily for me, today is the last day of school for the rest of this semester. Those twelve-hour nasal drops are really helping me get through the day, and I can tell that my nasal congestion has begun to improve because I’m not needing them quite so much; additionally, I can get through longer stretches of time decongested.
