I told Jason that he couldn’t go play outside because it was much too cold out.

In response, Jason takes off his pants and has a brief temper tantrum at the door. I don’t see how his decision to take off his pants would have further influenced my decision not to allow him to go outside in extremely cold weather, but it was slightly amusing nonetheless. Of course, once I distracted him with other things that I know he enjoys… he forgot about not being allowed to play outside, and hasn’t remembered since. Either that, or he’s remembered it and just decided that complaining about playing outside is not worth it because it’s so cold out and Mommy already said no.
