From time to time, it has crossed my mind that I should take my son to places outside of Texas when he’s old enough to appreciate them. Although that idea might have to wait a little bit longer since I’m currently pregnant with my second child, I still intend to take him to some nice places in America. Along with taking him to some historically important places like the Alamo and maybe even the Statue of Liberty, I’d like to take him to this New Hampshire hotel that I found as well. One of the things that I feel my son should eventually learn more about is the art of fine dining. Not only would it make him even more of a gentleman, but it would also help him impress the various people that will later come into his life who’d be impressed by that!

Additionally, I’d like to show him the world class culinary school… once he’s old enough to have begun to demonstrate vested interests in certain areas, anyways. If he develops an interest in the culinary arts, I’d like to encourage that interest in him since being able to cook well is always a useful skill. The fact that men must wear jackets for evening dining also impresses me, and I don’t want the whole table d’hote experience to be lost on him.
