Before my second child is born, I’ve been looking for some new authors to enjoy and some new books to read. As my pregnancy progresses, I have to prepare myself for the possibility of becoming somewhat limited in my activities due to low blood pressure. One of the authors that I’ve just recently discovered is Sherrilyn Kenyon, and I’ve become interested in reading her book series The League. I’ve always been fascinated by books that dealt with the paranormal world, and I’ve been a fan of reading them for years now.

Something that really draws me to Sherrilyn Kenyon’s work is the fact that she’s been writing books in the paranormal genre since before Twilight came out. Although I’ve found that series to be decent enough, at least in some aspects, I’ve also felt like I wanted to branch out further into the paranormal genre. So, with that said, I’m really happy that the third book of her The League series will be coming out December 1st! I am looking forward to getting “Born of Ice” and reading it as soon as possible. That will also give me a chance to begin to read the books in that series that came before it, allowing myself to become familiar with the characters and world before I actually sit down and read “Born of Ice”.
