Most miscarriages tend to happen within the first eight weeks of a woman’s pregnancy, should they happen at all. I’m pleased to know that I’ve made it through the embryonic period of my child’s development while restraining from taking any medicine that I didn’t absolutely need… and surprisingly enough, that includes limiting the use of my asthma inhaler while relying on some of the more homeopathic methods of making sure that I could breathe well enough to support me and my unborn child. Vicks’ VaporRub has really helped me breathe when I began to wheeze slightly, and it has a nice scent as well. However, I have used my inhaler when it has become clear that I absolutely needed to… just in case anyone who’s reading this was worried that I hadn’t been using it at all. At the end of the day, I know that I need to do just about whatever it takes to make sure that I get enough air for my unborn child. This might also mean limiting my activities at some point in this pregnancy, because it seems like I have more and more “triggers” which inflame my air passages and set off my asthma.
