I decided to post in here. I wanted to do it before I went to school.

Today, I am six weeks pregnant! This means that the baby has a heartbeat!

Soon, I’ll be making an appointment to be seen by a doctor for my pregnancy… most advise to wait until your eighth or tenth week to do that, because the baby is usually going to continue to stay in there for the duration of the pregnancy if they have stayed in there for that long. I’m also going to ask the primary care physician that I have about whether or not I should get any of my seasonal shots, give her my entire medical work-up prior to the pregnancy (first day of last menstrual period [September 22nd, 2009] normal cycle lengths [30 days], due date [July 1st, 2010] and present pregnancy’s progression [currently six weeks]) and even ask her if I can continue to see her for my pregnancy. She knows about my asthma, she knows me pretty well as a patient and it can’t hurt to ask…
