For those of you that may want to get pregnant…

For me, managing my menstrual cycles over the years became more of a matter of… surpressing them. Although I knew the textbook signs of ovulation, I seem to be one of the few people to whom biology lent minimal knowledge on the matter of when it actually happened. For most of my late adolescence spanning up until my twentieth year of life when I got pregnant with my oldest son, I tended to get ovarian cysts that interfered with things. Afterward, my period played a game of “let’s appear here and there”, lacking predictability even though I’ve tracked my cycles since the birth of my oldest son. I had a few cycles that were twenty-eight days in length, more that were twenty-nine or thirty, and a few that even stretched out all the way to thirty-five days. Perhaps if I had been able to find the midpoint of my cycles with the help of the link plugged above, things might have been a bit easier… although I suppose they would have been just as random.

That blog up there is also very useful when it comes to doling out pregnancy tips, too! :)
