Happened to get this picture of James as I was feeding him dinner one day. Thought it was adorable and hilarious, so it got posted to my Instagram account and eventually made its way over to this blog. Sure, he liked the food, and he wanted to eat it… but he was tired, so we wound up cutting that dinner just a tad bit short in favor of brushing his teeth and getting him to go to bed in his crib before he fell asleep in the chair. And as I’ve posted about before, that actually happened once. And although it was adorable — and entirely unexpected, because one minute I’m feeding a somewhat chipper child and the next he’s snoring peacefully in his high chair — I try to avoid letting it happen. Well, when and where I can, anyways. That’s what his crib is for…

I’m also starting to see issues when he eats too many foods containing tomato paste.
