What kind of toys should I buy?
Saturday, January 29, 2011 14:38For the past few hours, I’ve been looking online for some educational toys that I could buy both of my sons. I would ideally like to get them toys that foster a sense of camaraderie and teamwork — in other words, I’m looking for ones that require that both of them play together and work together as they use the toy. Does that make sense to any of you? With any luck, I can find a few items that fit a four-year-old boy and his six-month-old brother. As much as it warms my heart to see Jason attempt to engage in imaginative play with his younger brother’s baby toys as that’s a clear sign that he possesses empathy and wants to play with his brother. However, there’s got to be something better out there that can appeal to the boys even in spite of their age gap. And trust me when I say that I’ll find it.
If any of you have any suggestions, feel free to leave a comment in this post letting me know what they are. At this point in time, I’ll take almost anything that comes across as being somewhat decent!
Right now, all I know is that Jason’s main interest seems to be what almost all kids his age like — Spongebob Squarepants. And I should captalize the Bob…
