The PlayStation MOVE is awesome!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of PlayStation(R) Move. All opinions are 100% mine.

Being the mother of two small children, I've found myself having to get increasingly more creative so far as sibling bonding goes. For the last three years, my oldest son was my only child — he's gotten accustomed to the doting that comes with being one, and now he's having to learn to share his mother's time with somebody else. It's not always the easiest thing in the world transitioning from being an only child to someone's big brother, so I'm completely sympathetic to whatever he feels as he makes this journey.

Having been a gamer since I was his age, I've begun to use my lifelong hobby as a way to get my sons to enjoy spending time with one another. Not only is it something that I already know a lot about, but it's also something that was introduced to me by my own mother. So far, I would have to say it's working out rather well! However, I've recently taking to searching for games that would require the two of them to move around in the way of playing them for health reasons. Not only would it help my youngest son better coordinate his movements, but my oldest son would obviously benefit from the exercise as well. That's why I'm thinking about getting the PlayStation(R)MOVE for them… though I'm kind of wishing a little genie would conveniently drop one off on our doorstep. That would be the best Christmas present ever.

Jason would probably enjoy playing the action games on the PlayStation MOVE, as would I. Pixel Junk's Racers 2nd Lap looks like something we'd both enjoy, as I've always enjoyed playing action games and my three-year-old son is in love with cars. Additionally, the exercise games that can be played on the PlayStation MOVE would inspire all of us to get up and move, keeping the entire family healthy — I'm excited to check those out and see what's available! Once I get the MOVE bundle package for our PlayStation 3, which costs only $99, I'm going to do just that. Another thing that I like about the PlayStation MOVE is its easy-to-use controller. I'm not going to have to worry about either one of my kids fumbling with it, or worse, breaking it when they get particularly engaged in whatever game they're playing at the time. Even better is the fact that I'm not going to have to worry about dropping it myself!

Now that I know exactly what I'm going to get the kids for Christmas, suddenly shopping for it has gotten a lot easier. Given that boys almost always like to play video games, it's the best investment I can think of!
