So far, I’m seeing a lot of my own personality traits beginning to come out in my son. He doesn’t like to sleep for long stretches of time, and he’s extremely particular about the position he falls asleep in. He’s also really good at giving people odd looks, which is something I’ve done since I was old enough to make facial expressions. Yeah, he’s mine.

I’m still glad that I’m able to breastfeed him without supplementing. It’s always been a goal of mine to breastfeed both of my children for as long as they wanted to be breastfed, although getting Jason to stay on the breast proved to be increasingly more difficult as time went on. Regrettably, I wasn’t able to give in to my desire to buy cloth diapers right away for James because a few of his babysitters… rebelled against the idea, for lack of another way to say it. A lot of it came from the fact that they themselves were cloth diapered, so I’m going to wait a little while before bringing it up again and see if it helps.
